Gavilan College High on Health Faire Serving Thousands in the Community for the Past 21 Years

What:  Everyone is invited to attend the 22nd annual High on Health Faire hosted by Gavilan College.  This health & resource fair is free and offering services to the community.  This event draws over 1,500 visitors.  Any of the free tests can be performed on children, as long as a parent or guardian is present.  

Visitors will have an opportunity to speak with dozens of representatives from local organizations.  Some previous year participants include Hollister Pregnancy Center / STD Clinic, The LGBTQ Youth Space, Covered CA, St. Louis Hospital, San Andreas Regional Center, San Benito County HHHSA, San Benito County Public Health - Tobacco Program, Santa Clara County Valley Health Hospital, Santa Clara County WIC Program, South County Self Help Center, Tobacco Prevention & Education Program, and the Gavilan College Allied Health Department, to name a few.

Visitors can get referrals for counseling, be tested for blood pressure, blood glucose, HIV / AIDS (which is confidential and involves no needles).  Other types of medical screening might also be available, please stop by to speak with a representative.

Where: Gavilan College Student Center at 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd., Gilroy, 95020.

When:  Wednesday, October 7, from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
